BizzHuB's Story
The Idea
Co-founders Samuel Mwanga and Aigerim Chen meet at an African-China trade conference in Nairobi. They recognize a critical gap: no trusted platform connecting Tanzanian buyers with verified Chinese suppliers.
BizzHuB Founded
BizzHuB China Ltd. is registered in Dar es Salaam. The founding team of 5 begins building the verification framework and recruiting initial suppliers from Guangdong province.
Platform Launch
Beta launch with 50 verified suppliers and 200 registered buyers. First escrow-protected trade worth US$45,000 completed successfully between a Dar es Salaam importer and a Shenzhen electronics manufacturer.
Gold Verification Program
Introduced the industry-first 5-stage Gold Verification program including mandatory factory audits and live video inspections. 87 suppliers achieve Gold status in first year.
Rapid Growth
Platform grows to 300+ verified suppliers, US$2.1M in monthly trade volume. Launch of the RFQ system and integrated messaging platform. Partnership with Tanzania Ports Authority for customs pre-clearance.
Shenzhen Office Opens
Opened coordination office in Shenzhen Science & Technology Park. Hired 8 China-based supplier success managers. Trade volume exceeds US$4.2M. BizzHuB named Tanzania's Top Fintech Innovation by Business Times.
Today
Operating with 500+ Gold and Verified suppliers, 2,000+ registered Tanzanian buyers, and a growing team across Dar es Salaam and Shenzhen. Expanding to Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.

Guangdong native with 12 years in Chinese export industry. Led supplier quality programs at Alibaba. Based in Shenzhen. Speaks Mandarin, English, Swahili.

Software engineer with 10 years building fintech platforms across East Africa. Previously built payment systems at M-Pesa. Based in Nairobi.
